Cart Surfer is one of the more popular minigames on the Club Penguin Journey island, particularly due to the simplicity of the game — performing stunts and tricks to earn points while surfing a mine cart. When compared to games such as Catching Waves or Smoothie Smash, it is much easier to earn coins consistently in Cart Surfer with minimal effort. Based on a CPJourney Coin Chart by Yosh2, you can take in a total of 60,000 coins per hour, making Cart Surfer one of the quickest ways to earn coins.

The game is simple — perform stunts and tricks while surfing a mine cart on a track to earn points. As you advance through the game, the cart will increasingly become faster and unlike other games, has an end, marked by a giant white light at the end of the tunnel. Penguins have three lives while surfing, so, if you fall once or twice, don’t worry, as you still can continue your run! The best tip that can be given when playing Cart Surfer is to bring your Black Puffle along, as they help you recover from a wobble much easier. So, if you aren’t too confident with the game, it’s always best to take them with you!

There are a total of twelve stamps available to obtain across the game — 1 easy, 5 medium, 5 hard and 1 extreme difficulty. Ranging from recovering from wobbles to combining all tricks and stunts to earn coins — there’s plenty to discuss and guide you through!

Easy Stamps

Great Balance Stamp

Earning this stamp is as easy as counting to three! You simply have to recover from a wobble as can be seen in the stamp image. The easiest way to earn this stamp is to hold the right or left arrow key until you begin to wobble and then, stop pressing the button to recover.

Medium Stamps

Cart Pro Stamp

Just as easy as the first stamp but you have to do more than one trick this time! Perform different stunts and you’ll have earned 150 coins by the end of the game, earning you the Cart Pro Stamp

Mine Marvel Stamp

Although medium difficulty, the stamps in this category aren’t as difficult as made out to be! The main objective to earn this stamp is to do any tricks mentioned below 10 times in the game. You’re not required to do all of the tricks, but, make sure a combination of them are performed 10 times. Should you find this stamp difficult to complete, don’t worry as you can crash your cart to give you more time!

Mine Mission Stamp

Now it’s time to play Subway Surfers but in Club Penguin! Who knew penguins could run on train tracks? Slightly harder than the previous stamp, you now have to perform 10 of the tricks below in one game! Don’t worry if you don’t get it in your first try! You have three lives to help you complete this!

Trick Master Stamp

These penguins seem quite talented if they’re able to do a handstand while surfing a cart! For this stamp, it’s getting a bit more complicated as you need to complete 14 different tricks. However, unlike before, you can’t repeat tricks! Jump does not count as a trick, but all other movements do. Do one of each stunt and you’ll have earned this stamp!

Puffle Power Stamp

Identical to the very first stamp, but this time, you can bring your sidekick! Bring your Black Puffle along with you while playing the game, recover from a wobble and then, you’ll have earned this stamp!

Hard Stamps

Cart Expert Stamp

Now it’s becoming a bit harder! Similar to the Cart Pro stamp, this time you need to earn 250 coins in one game. Perform a variety of tricks and stunts and, by the end of the game, you’ll have earned this stamp!

Mine Grinder Stamp

Now we’re hitting the harder stamps! You’ll need to grind around 8 corners to earn this stamp. Press the down button while turning and by the time the game has finished, you’ll have completed this one.

Surf’s Up Stamp

Catchin’ Waves but on a mine track, who says no? Almost identical to the one above, this time, you have to surf around 8 corners. The simplest way to complete this is to press the arrow up key when turning a corner.

Flip Mania Stamp

Is this gymnastics or is it a Club Penguin minigame? This is your first challenging stamp and you might struggle so, listen up! To earn this stamp, you need to flip your cart twenty times in a row without crashing. Be careful — no other tricks can be used during your run!

Ultimate Duo Stamp

Time to partner up — grab your Black Puffle to help you with this stamp! Perform 20 tricks in one game with your Black Puffle equipped. If you need more time, crash your cart and give yourself a second chance.

Extreme Stamps

Cart Master Stamp

Last but not least, we’re at the extreme level stamps! Although this is considered extreme, it’s one of the easier stamps to get. Combine all the tricks and stunts listed at the start of this guide, collect 350 coins, and you’ll have earned this stamp by the time you finish! CP Journey Cart Surfer Optimal Strategy [Crash Bonus & Timing]

Crashing on purpose in game gives you an extra life. So, with four lives, you can earn more coins, and, perform more tricks and stunts. On a regular run, you will have 8 turns, but, with a strategy, you can extend that to 13 turns.

To time it perfectly and achieve the best result, you need to crash on a certain turn after every life. For your first life, you crash on the sixth turn. When you enter your second life, multiple different turn patterns appear based on your score and tunnel layout. For this, there are multiple options to consider. For your third life, you need to crash on the second turn, while on your fourth life, you don’t crash at all and just finish the game.
